​I am Christal. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in beautiful Oregon. I specialize in taking timeless images that capture life's greatest moments. I photograph all over Oregon and Northern California in places like Ashland, Medford, Grants Pass, Brookings, Gold Beach, Mt. Shasta and more. Every year I am so fortunate to have destination clients as well and I'm happy to consider travel for any celebration!

I studied fine art black and white film photography in college and fell in love with it as an art form. My closest friends became my models, we would go to out of the way locations with a few props and create beautifully raw portraits. Since then, I have enjoyed photographing pregnant mamas, births, families, children, couples, elopements and weddings. My style is lifestyle portraits to freeze authentic moments and create memories that last. Portraiture photography is much more than taking pictures, it is about capturing the essence of people. To get past the posing or façade and see who they really are. I love people and celebrating our differences. It makes me extremely happy when my clients feel comfortable sharing the special times of their lives with me, it's an honor to capture these fleeting moments. Whether it's two people celebrating their love for one another, your child being born, a newborn peacefully dreaming, a mother silently waiting and preparing, children being playful or families being close and connected; These are the moments I strive to protect from the passing minutes of time. I work to create images that my clients and their families will cherish for generations.

I am based in Ashland, Oregon. I also photograph weddings in Northern California and I love to travel! I am available for Destination Wedding and elopement photography worldwide as well. My bucket-list for destinations to create dreamy wedding photos: Morocco, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Fiji, Australia and really anywhere worldwide you desire.
